ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Catriona King is the author of the Craig Crime Series, standalone science fiction novel, The Carbon Trail, and the new fantasy/mythology series, The Quanta, with book one in the series, Aurora, released in July 2017. She was raised in Northern Ireland and moved to central London where she trained as a GP and police Forensic Medical Examiner. She worked closely with the Metropolitan Police in London on many occasions. Catriona has written since childhood; fiction, fact and reporting as a medical jourmalist in London.
In recent years, she returned to live and work in Belfast, basing her Craig novels in the streets of modern Northern Ireland, and locating the fictitious crime headquarters of 'Docklands Coordinated Crime Unit' in one of Belfast's oldest and most colourful districts, Sailortown.
'A Limited Justice' the first in the series, was released on Kindle and paperback in 2012 to Five Star Reviews and reached Number One in its genre on Amazon. The series follows murder squad detective Marc Craig and his team, in the hunt for killers.
As of August 2018 there have been 18 books released in the Craig Crime Series.
All of Catriona's books are available in paperback and ebook formats, from Amazon and some bookshops.
Catriona is very involved in Belfast's dynamic arts scene and is the founder/director of Belfast's Studio Theatre Company which performed two plays at the MAC Belfast in April and June 2013.
The company performed 'Blithe Spirit' by Noel Coward in June 2014 and is currently taking part of the Royal Shakespeare Company's project, RSC Open Stages 2014.
